Black Ruby Leather and Suede Strap Boots

Two textures, one color.

The Ruby sets matte suede across the shaft against polished full-grain leather at the toe, heel and strap — the same black twice over, one absorbing light and one throwing it back. The contrast is the design; nothing else on the boot competes with it.

A wide leather strap crosses the ankle and closes with a concealed hook-and-loop fastening, so you set the fit once and pull the boot on from there. No laces to tie, no zipper to catch.

Underneath, a chunky serrated platform adds real height and grip without a heel to balance on. The whole thing reads heavier than it feels.

Inside, a genuine leather lining backed with padded textile keeps it comfortable from morning to close.

Suede and leather both age — they'll soften, mark and take on character with wear. Every pair ends up particular to the person wearing it.

Brush the suede panels with a suede brush. Wipe the leather with a damp cloth.
