The Albus is a leather high top with nothing on it: no logo, no contrast panel, no white midsole breaking the line. Matte black leather, black eyelets, black laces, black sole. The only thing shaping it is the seaming — a raised panel wrapping the collar and quarters, visible only when the light moves across it.
The shaft sits high with foam padding through the collar, so it holds the ankle without stiffness. Full leather lining inside, which is rare at this height and the reason it doesn't get clammy by afternoon.
Underfoot, a micro sole in matching black adds cushioning and a little height without the bulk of a chunky trainer.
