The upper is leather with a matte rubberized finish — flat, soft to the touch, no shine to catch light. A panel seam runs from the throat down through the quarter, and a wrapped toe overlay picks up the same line. Black eyelets, black laces, and a thick black sole underneath, so nothing interrupts the shape from top to ground.

Where the laceless version is about ease, this one is about the fit. The lacing lets you set the tension over the instep and keep it there, which matters on a shoe you'll walk a full day in. Everything else stays blacked out.

Inside, a genuine leather lining backed with padded textile keeps it comfortable from morning to close, with a foam-padded collar through the heel. There's no break-in period to sit through.

Care

Wipe with a damp cloth. Do not use leather cream or conditioner — the rubberized finish doesn't absorb it and can go patchy.
