Most tall boots are built to one calf measurement and hope for the best. The Jill laces at the back of the shaft, so you set the width yourself — tighter over a bare leg, looser over a thick sock or a jean tucked in. It's the difference between a boot that fits and a boot that gapes.
Cut from smooth full-grain leather in a deep black, with a clean line from the toe to the knee and no ornament interrupting it. A square toe and a stacked block heel keep it grounded and walkable.
A full inner zipper runs the length of the shaft, so it goes on in one motion.
Inside, a genuine leather lining backed with padded textile keeps it comfortable from morning to close. Underfoot, a rubber sole gives grip without the noise of a hard leather sole.
